Biography

As the niece of an award winning photographer and photojournalist, I grew up around photography. Capturing the natural inquisitiveness and personalities of children has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I continued this work with children as an elementary school teacher from 1998 to 2006 in Pennsylvania, California, and here in Virginia. Since 2006 and the birth of my second child, I have been able to merge my passion for children and my love of photography by starting Miklus Photography. I look forward to working with you!
